Carrie Coon and Tracy Letts
Carrie Coon and Tracy Letts fell in love during the 2010 season of “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?” at the Steppenwolf Theatre Company in Chicago. Both nabbed Tony Award nominations. Letts had already received the Pulitzer in 2008 for his play August: Osage County.
They starred in “The Post” together in 2017 and welcomed a baby boy in 2018. The couple wed in 2013. Whenever Letts finishes a writing project, he relies on Coon’s feedback. He sits nervously in another room, listening, and then asks which parts made her laugh. Just as adorable, Coon is moved; he cares so much.
